I am an Assistant Professor in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Kansas. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Previously, I worked at Samsung Electronics as a senior system software engineer.

If you like system programming (e.g., Linux kernel hacking) and want to conduct cutting edge system research with me, feel free to contact me.

Research Interests:

My research mainly focus on OS level resource management for embedded/real-time systems. In particular, I am interested in:

Performance isolation in multicore systems

Power/energy-aware scheduling

Real-time Linux

More broadly, I am interested in OS, architecture, and real-time/embedded systems.
