I2S graduate and undergraduate students participate in the ISO Student Organization Showcase research poster presentations.
The Institute for Information Sciences’ Student Organization (I2S ISO) hosted a showcase on Wednesday, April 15, that featured select graduate research presentations, tours of the I2S supercomputing facility, and undergraduate student organization poster presentations. In addition to ISO, student organizations that participated included the KU Supercomputing Club, KU Artificial Intelligence Organization, and the KU Blockchain Institute.

Graduate and undergraduate KU students, along with high school students from the Shawnee Mission school district and students from the Unites States Army Command and Staff College in Leavenworth, participated in research poster presentations as part of the 2026 KU and FBI Cybersecurity Intelligence Conference. The poster presentations, which took place on Tuesday, March 31, during an extended midday break from the conference sessions, was supported by KU’s Institute for Information Sciences.
Navigating Our Worlds: Ethics in the Digital Age image
An upcoming KU virtual event will set out to examine topics that are impacted by emerging technologies across the digital, social, and physical landscapes. Navigating Our Worlds: Ethics in the Digital Age – A.I. and Human Dignity takes place on Tuesday, April 28, from 5:30-7pm and is supported by the Institute for Information Sciences (I2S), the Center for Community Engagement and Collaboration – School of Social Welfare, and The Commons at KU.
