Director of the Institute for Information Sciences (I2S) and AT&T Foundation Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Perry Alexander was a featured guest on Lawrence’s KLWN morning show According to the Record with Kim Murphree on Tuesday, March 4. Alexander’s appearance on the show comes in advance of the KU and FBI fourth annual Cybersecurity Intelligence Conference March 31, Apri 1.

Alejandro (David) Tamez, assistant research professor at KU’s Institute of Information Sciences (I2S) and managing director of I2S’ Center for Cyber-Social Dynamics, co-authored an article featured in the latest edition of the Museum of Science (MOSF) Fiction’s Journal of Science Fiction.

Graduate and undergraduate KU students, along with high school students from the Shawnee Mission school district and students from the Unites States Army Command and Staff College in Leavenworth, participated in research poster presentations as part of the 2026 KU and FBI Cybersecurity Intelligence Conference. The poster presentations, which took place on Tuesday, March 31, during an extended midday break from the conference sessions, was supported by KU’s Institute for Information Sciences.
