Jace Keagy Poster Presentation
Members of the University of Kansas and the public recently attended a cybersecurity conference that once again brought together experts in the field and research. The Third Annual FBI & KU Cybersecurity Conference: Bridging the Knowledge of Government, Industry, Workforce and Research took place on April 3 and 4 at the Kansas Union on KU’s Lawrence campus. As in past conferences, a highlight of the event were student-led research presentations, which took place on April 3.

Hongyang Sun, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, is the recipient of an NSF Early Career Development award for his efforts to strengthen high-performance computing systems by allowing them to do more work as they continue to expand.
Caveat podcast
Perry Alexander, AT&T distinguished professor of electrical engineering and computer science, along with John Symons, professor of philosophy, were recently featured on the Caveat podcast. The two KU faculty members were interviewed by host Ben Yelin during the third annual FBI and KU Cybersecurity Conference, held at the Lawrence campus April 3-4, 2025.
