Erik Perrins will deliver his inaugural distinguished professor lecture, “Finding the Signal in the Noise: The Hidden Magic of Error Correcting Codes in Deep-Space Radios,” on Nov. 11.
Researchers will explore new computational approaches to cardiac ablation during an upcoming talk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, in Nichols Hall (Executive Conference Room – Rm. 2460 at the University of Kansas. Lunch will be provided.
The University of Kansas Institute for Information Sciences (I2S) has published a new set of policy guidelines to help researchers use generative artificial intelligence responsibly while maintaining the highest standards of research integrity. The guidelines were developed by a faculty working group led by Bo Luo, professor of electrical engineering and computer science and director of I2S’s High Assurance and Secure Systems Center (HASSC).
